"The 'Unified Veterans' Hotline' is an important step and component of the new veteran policy to support Ukrainian defenders and their families," the ministry said.

Qualified experts will provide consultation on urgent matters via the phone number 0 800 505 217 to veterans, members of their families, and families of fallen soldiers.

The "Unified Veterans' Hotline" operates daily from 08:00 to 20:00 in a trial mode.

In related news, Ukrainian Administrative Service Centers intend to become the "sole window" for veterans and their families to receive services. Overall, a "sole window"  will provide veterans with a unified database of services for war veterans, maximum awareness of their opportunities, convenient, quality, and accessible conditions for obtaining administrative services, and a range of administrative services in one place from one or several providers of such services.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has increased the state social assistance to children of deceased volunteer fighters.

The Joint-Stock Company "Ukrainian Defense Industry" also established a Veterans Reintegration Center.
