Russia has launched 130 missiles, 320 drones, and almost 900 guided bombs over Ukraine in March
Since the beginning of March 2024, Russian forces have launched 130 missiles of various types, over 320 drones, and nearly 900 guided bombs at Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Rubryka reports.
"Every day and every night, Russia conducts a terrorist war against our people, against ordinary towns and villages in Ukraine, using drones, missiles, and guided bombs," Zelensky said.
According to the president, Ukraine has demonstrated its ability to effectively down any missiles and drones used by Russian terrorists and to destroy Russian military aircraft.
He added that such actions save thousands of lives and enable the Ukrainian economy to function, "but we need more protection — a sufficient number of air defense systems, which our partners have."
"Patriots and other systems should do what they were created for — to protect lives, not collect dust in storage. And I thank everyone in the world who understands this and helps us save lives. Russian terror must be defeated," Zelensky said.
As Rubryka reported, during the past day, the Russian forces carried out seven missile strikes and 70 aviation strikes, as well as 110 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian settlements.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havryliuk announced that since the beginning of 2024, Russia has dropped over 3,500 bombs on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This is 16 times more than in the entire year of 2023.
