Russian rockets strike residential houses in front-line Selydove

Russian forces shelled the private housing of the city of Selydove in the eastern Donetsk region with an S-300 surface-to-air missile system overnight on March 19.
The police released photos and videos of the aftermath of the missile strike, Rubryka reports, citing the regional police.

According to the investigation, the Russian strike occurred at 02:30 on Tuesday. Four people residing in homes suffered various injuries: three women aged 64, 65, and 82, and a 58-year-old man.
Among the diagnosed injuries were mine-explosive traumas, bruises, concussions, and rib fractures. The injured received urgent medical care.

It has been established that the Russian attack damaged at least 24 residential buildings and four cars.
Law enforcement officers have initiated criminal proceedings in connection with the violation of laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). A pre-trial investigation is underway.

The police reported that an investigative-operational group and police explosive experts, as well as the State Emergency Service and other relevant services, worked at the strike site throughout the night.
During the past day, Russian forces killed one civilian and injured five in the Donetsk region.
"On March 18, Russians killed one resident in Ocheretyno. Another five people in the region were injured during the day," said Vadym Fylyashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Since the beginning of the invasion, the Russian army has killed at least 1,886 people in the region and injured no less than 4,723. These figures do not include the victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha, as the cities are still under Russian occupation, and the full death toll can not be established.
