Russia's missile attack on Kryvyi Rih injures 12 children, damages 400 apartments

During the enemy attack on Kryvyi Rih on March 12, more than 400 apartments in 31 high-rise buildings, two kindergartens, five schools, two vocational schools, a store and other city facilities were damaged.

Governor Oleksandr Vilkul says 50 civilians attended to hospital for help, including 12 children and two newborns.

"Everyone who was needed – that's 21 people – was immediately taken to the city hospital. Currently, 10 adults are in hospitals (six of them are serious, while one woman is very serious) and seven children (one of them is serious). Doctors are fighting for their lives, all the necessary help is being provided. Three people have been discharged, one child, who was previously in a serious condition, has been stabilized and is now in a moderate condition. Outpatient medical care has been provided to 29 patients, three of whom are children. People's lives are the most important."

Within an hour of the attack, two humanitarian aid centers were set up in the city that worked around the clock.

Vilkul emphasized that the work on eliminating the consequences of the attacks continues. 25 utility crews and 22 units of municipal equipment are involved.
