Kyiv records 1,000th air raid alert during full-scale war
1,000 air raid sirens sounded in the capital during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
This information was made public by the mobile application "Kyiv Digital" and the Air Force, Rubryka reports.
"From February 24, 2022, until now, there have been 1,000 alerts. The danger lasted for 1,165 hours and 26 minutes," the app reported.
The latest alarm sounded in Kyiv during the day on March 12, 2024, and lasted for 17 minutes.
"The threat of ballistic weapon deployment in areas where an air raid alert has been announced," the military wrote.
Earlier, due to the ballistic threat, air raid alerts were also declared in Kyiv and several other regions on the morning of March 12, lasting for over an hour.
Before this, the Air Force reported Russian tactical aviation activity in the southeast direction. Currently, there is ongoing tactical aviation activity in the northeast direction.
"Attention! The threat of ballistic weapon deployment in areas where an air raid alert has been announced!" they clarified.
