Solutions to win: Kharkiv charity fund donates 10 ATVs with trailers and tires for military evacuations
The CodeIT4Life charity fund from Kharkiv handed over ATVs with trailers and additional tires to evacuate the wounded to ten military units. The foundation team donated the fifth part, and people from Ukraine, Europe, and the USA donated the rest.
Suspilne writes about that.
What is the problem?
Based on the medical teams' calculations, approximately 50% of severely wounded individuals are unable to survive due to the extended evacuation time from the battlefield and the absence of fixed stabilization points.
What is the solution?
Therefore, Kharkiv benefactors handed over 10 ATVs with trailers to the military units for evacuating the wounded.

How does it work?
The equipment was transferred to units serving on different fronts, says the head of the fund, Oleksiy Kholodenko.
"The task and purpose of ATVs is to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield. We know that medicine has such a term as the "golden hour." Thanks to the help that will be provided to the wounded during the first hour, their lives depend. Therefore, we decided to do just that project, and they implemented it in two months; it costs almost 100,000 dollars for ten sets," Kholodenko says.

- separate battalion, "Da Vinci Wolves,"
- 47th separate mechanized brigade,
- 13 brigade of "Khartiia" National Guard of Ukraine,
- 40th separate rifle battalion,
- 43rd separate mechanized brigade,

Oleksiy, a soldier in Dmytro Kotsiubailo's "Da Vinci" battalion, states that this equipment is necessary.
"Before that, we had a Volyn vehicle that we used to evacuate. It was quite fast and helped us, but it was already worn out – it is already risky to evacuate. In fact, in the conditions there, it is always relevant. There is no such thing that only in autumn or needed in the spring," says the soldier.
"We had a story related to the "road of life" near Bakhmut, close to the settlement of Khromove. One morning, we had around 15 injured individuals, all of whom had minor injuries but were unable to move. We then evacuated them using our "Volyn" vehicle. During the first trip, all of the wheels were punctured, and two more trips were made with the punctured wheels. Despite the damage the car sustained from fragments hitting it, it fulfilled its duty. The driver made three trips, safely transporting five soldiers each time. Everyone arrived unharmed".
"This is a very nice gift, and I think the boys will like it very much. Especially now, when the weather is like this – sometimes rain, sometimes snow, cars are constantly stuck, and such a car will pass anywhere," the officer of the 43rd separate mechanized brigade with a callsign "Koval" says.
For reference:
It should be noted that the Ukrainian inventors of the Brave1 cluster have developed a FoxTac remote-controlled evacuation platform that can transport wounded soldiers from the battlefield.
Rubryka also reported that Dmytro Mamonov, an immigrant from Sloviansk who currently lives in Zhytomyr, developed electronic stretchers for transporting the wounded.
In addition, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, two volunteers, Volodymyr Mussur and Roman Borynets from Broshniv-Osada, are creating a ground drone for evacuating wounded soldiers. The radio-controlled device will accelerate up to 20 km/h and will be able to transport at least 150 kg.
