Application deadline closed for acceleration program by Zhytomyr Polytechnic and BGV

Throughout February, Zhytomyr Polytechnic University was accepting applications for BGV HARDWARE ACCELERATOR — an acceleration program to support tech startups, attract talented engineers, and foster modern innovative products in Ukraine. The primary partner and sponsor of the program is the investment company BGV Group Management, led by Hennadii Butkevych. The initiative also received support from the Ukrainian Startup Fund and the open technological ecosystem players association Techosystem.
35 Ukrainian teams from across the country have applied for the BGV HARDWARE ACCELERATOR. The competitiveness within the program reached 3.5 teams per spot.
Teams from all over Ukraine, including Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kramatorsk, and other cities, applied to the accelerator.
The projects submitted cover a variety of topics:
- Industrial solutions for serial 3D printing
- Agriculture and agrotechnologies projects
- Energy and transportation technologies
- Design and development of various UAVs
- Medical technologies
- Robotics and artificial intelligence
- Education technologies
- Sports technologies.
By March 10, program experts and mentors will pick finalists for the hardware acceleration program of Zhytomyr Polytechnic and BGV, selecting up to ten of the best teams.
After the selection, participants will begin the theoretical and practical parts of the acceleration program. The teams will get access to:
- Coworking spaces for learning
- Grant funding of up to €3,000 for components and materials to create MVP
- Access to production equipment and prototyping laboratory services
- Workshops and lectures
- Support from accelerator experts and mentors
- Coordination and promotional support for teams
We believe our program will help Ukrainian tech teams bring their ideas to life, develop, and introduce innovative hardware solutions to the market, contributing to the development of the Ukrainian economy and the tech industry.
