Russian defense ministry website down for a day due to Ukrainian intelligence cyber operation

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor state of Russia cannot cope with the consequences of a cyberattack by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. As of March 5, 2024, the official website of the enemy's law enforcement agency is still "down."

The Main Directorate of Intelligence reported that.

IP telephony, domains of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and servers that provided electronic document flow of the enemy structure remain blocked.

"These are significant amounts of data. We are talking about the personal data of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as valuable information in the context of software that will allow such operations to continue. Of course, we are not talking about the complete destruction of their digital infrastructure, but these are significant gains. This is important a database that will allow such actions to be continued on a larger scale," Yusov said.

As Rubryka previously reported, cyber specialists of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine implemented another successful special operation against the aggressor state of Russia. As a result of a DDoS attack, it was possible to gain access to the servers of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Thanks to the successful operation of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, the Ukrainian special service has software for information protection and encryption, which was used by the morph, as well as an array of secret official documents of the Russian Ministry of War.
