Russian drone drops explosive on civilian in Ukrainian city of Beryslav

Russian troops attacked the southern city of Berislav, Kherson region, early on March 4. 

A local resident was injured in the attack, Rubryka reports, citing the Kherson Regional State Administration.

The authorities reported that the Russian occupiers attacked a 55-year-old resident of Berislav from a drone in the morning, dropping an explosive device on the man as he was walking down the street in the city.

"The victim was diagnosed with explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds to the limbs. He was taken to the hospital, where he is currently receiving medical care," the report said.

Yesterday, Russian forces shelled the Zelenivka district from the occupied left bank of the Kherson region, damaging more than 20 residential buildings of peaceful residents.

"The Russian army yesterday attacked the Zelenivka village district from the temporarily occupied left bank," said Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Police, Ukrinform reports.

According to operational information from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, yesterday, the Russians shelled the towns of Sadove, Veletenske, Kyzomys, Poniativka, Antonivka, Stepanivka, Zelenivka, Berislav, Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Tomyna Balka, Sablukivka, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Vesele, and the city of Kherson. Russian military targeted residential quarters of populated areas in the region, including nine multi-story buildings and 16 private houses.

In Kherson, the Russian shelling damaged administrative buildings and hit critical infrastructure facilities, educational institutions, a bakery, and utility buildings. One person was killed due to Russian aggression.
