Two-year Russia's losses in Ukraine match original force in 2022 – UK intelligence
Over the two years of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia has lost the same number of personnel and military equipment as at the beginning of the invasion.

According to the latest UK intelligence report, Russia has deployed approximately 130 battalion tactical groups to invade Ukraine, including 1,300 tanks, over 5,000 armored vehicles, and at least 100,000 personnel.

"In two years of conflict. Russian losses match, and in many cases exceed, those of its original force. Confirmed Russian losses include more than 2,700 tanks and 5,000 infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. The number of killed and wounded in Russia is likely to be around 350,000."
Russian military compensated for the losses by mobilizing more troops and increasing arms production.
"Russian troops in Ukraine are now larger than at the beginning of the war. It is now able to support attacks along the front line and pursue a strategy of depleting Ukrainian forces."
