United to win: Ukrainian Armor joins forces with Eastern European ammunition holding for massive delivery of high-explosive artillery shells
Ukrainian Armor is increasing the supply of 122 mm high-explosive artillery rounds. Today, February 19, thousands of new rounds were delivered to Ukraine for the needs of Ukraine's armed forces.
The general director of the Ukrainian Armor LLC Vladyslav Belbas reported this.
"Today, a batch of 122 mm high-explosive artillery shells, produced in partnership with one of the ammunition holdings of Eastern Europe, was delivered to Ukraine. Shots of this caliber are essential for the Ukrainian army – they are used daily for the D-30 and 2S1 guns," states General Director of Ukrainian Armor LLC Vladyslav Belbas.
According to him, the company managed to establish systematic serial production and significantly increase the production volumes of 122 mm artillery rounds.

It should be noted that in 2023 Ukrainian Armor resumed serial production of 60-mm mortar rounds and already supplied Ukraine's armed forces with more than 100,000 units.
Also, Ukrainian Armor has been producing a line of mortars since 2017, including different calibers: 82-mm, 120-mm, and 60-mm. Demand at the time of launch was small, but the niche was not closed by anyone.
In total, at the time of the invasion, the company had about 12 research and development projects in progress.

JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry" (formerly Ukroboronprom – ed.) is also working on the development of the 155 mm artillery projectile, which is the standard of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).
