Fire breaks out at MiG fighter jet plant in Moscow

A building of the MiG jet factory in the Russian capital caught fire, and relevant services started evacuating employees. 

Russian Telegram channels report that the fire broke out "in a workshop undergoing reconstruction" attached to the factory building, which is currently operational.

The fire occurred on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. The fire area is 70 square meters.

Several fire brigades were sent to the scene, and there was a risk of the fire spreading to other factory buildings.

As of 13:55, open burning on the territory of the MiG factory in Moscow has been extinguished. However, the roof continues to smolder.

Firefighters are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.

Similar attacks on oil bases in Russia

Over the past few weeks, oil bases and oil refineries have been on fire in several regions of Russia. These attacks are attributed to Ukraine's security service.

On February 9, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked two oil refineries in Russia simultaneously — the Ilsk and Afip oil refineries in the Krasnodar Territory.

An airplane-type drone attacked one of the largest Russian oil refineries — the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl, Russia — on January 29.

On the night of January 25, an oil refinery in Tuapse, Russia, became the next target of Ukraine's Security Service. After two powerful explosions, a massive fire broke out, damaging the primary oil product processing installations.

The attack by Ukrainian drones on January 21 halted the operation of the Novatek plant, located on the coast of the Baltic Sea. 

On the night of January 18, Ukrainian drones struck an oil base in the Leningrad Oblast, Russia: this attack was a special operation of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.
