Zelensky did not reveal the details of the meetings but emphasized that they were "important" and announced further changes.
"Important meetings today. We continue to update the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. The team is effective. There will be changes—more strength for Ukraine. More opportunities," the head of state wrote on his Telegram channel.
In the photo released by the President, it can be seen that he met today with the new head of Ukraine's armed forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, the new chief of the General Staff Anatolyi Barhylevych, the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk, and several other military personnel.
As Rubryka had already reported, Zelensky has changed the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the National Security and Defense Council.

On February 8, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the decision to dismiss Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Instead, Oleksandr Syrskyi was appointed as the new commander-in-chief.
On February 9, Syrskyi made his first statement as Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's armed forces. He emphasized that today, Ukraine has new tasks on the agenda.
"I appointed Major General Anatoliy Barhylevych as the new chief of the General Staff on the proposal of the Chief of Staff Oleksandr Syrskyi. He is an experienced person who understands the tasks of this war and Ukrainian goals," he said.
Also, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine [Ukraine's government – ed.] supported the decision on the temporary appointment of Oleksandr Porhun to the post of Minister of Veterans Affairs.
It should be noted that earlier, the Verkhovna Rada [Ukraine's parliament – ed.] dismissed Yulia Laputina, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
