Russian drones attack Kharkiv overnight: seven killed including children

On the evening of February 9, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with Iranian Shahed drones.
A gas station in the regional center was hit, a massive fire destroyed at least 15 houses. Four adults and three children were killed, the youngest being six months old, the major Ihor Terekhov reports.
The Air Force warned about the movement of enemy "Shahed" to the regional center at night.
The first to report an enemy strike on Kharkiv the night before was the mayor, who wrote about explosions in the city at about 10:40 p.m.
Terekhov said that Russian troops hit the gas station, which caused fire on 3,700 square meters.

"50 Kharkiv residents, including two children, have been evacuated. The State Emergency Service continues to fight the fire and search for possible victims," the mayor said.

Head of the regional prosecutor's office Oleksandr Filchakov said that one person suffered 40% burns to his body and is in hospital.
