Armenia donates ten tons of medicines to Kyiv military hospital
Armenian embassy in Ukraine sent over 10 tons of medicines to the Kyiv Military Clinical Hospital, the defense ministry reports.
What is the problem?
Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine Vladimir Karapetyan says in this difficult time for Ukraine, his state is always ready to offer a helping hand.
"For the first time, such a large-scale humanitarian aid to Ukrainian schoolchildren was brought in September 2023 by the wife of the Prime Minister, Mrs. Anna Hakobyan. Today, Ukraine has received medicines."
Up to 12,000 Armenians are fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian forces. More than 300 have been awarded with the state titles.
"These people are the most important element in strengthening relations between our peoples and countries."
What is the solution?
"The humanitarian aid in the form of medicines that the representatives of the Armenian embassy are handing over to the Main Military Clinical Hospital today is a very important contribution to the treatment and recovery of Ukraine's defenders. Thank you very much for your help and support!" the embassy reported.
How does it work?
The humanitarian aid can be used in many clinical areas, including antibacterial therapy and pain relief for the wounded and sick.
As part of the humanitarian project, representatives of the Armenian side have already delivered the aid to a military hospital in Dnipro. In the near future, the same cargo will be delivered to Kharkiv.
In June 2023, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that his country was not Russia's ally in the war against Ukraine.
He said that the war has a great impact on all of Armenia's international relations.
In September of this year, the Armenian leader said that the country's policy of relying solely on Russia as a guarantor of its security was a strategic mistake.
Yerevan's security architecture was 99.999% connected to Russia, particularly when it came to purchasing weapons and ammunition.
