Ukrainian troops are tracking a declining number of Russian assaults on the left bank of the Kherson region, with only two attempts recorded over the past day.

The AFU spokesperson Natalia Humeniuk says Russian forces are saving up their equipment, fearing Ukrainian frequent drone attacks.

Humeniuk said that this saving of armored vehicles has been going on for a long time.

As for the question of whether the savings mean that the Russians have few armored vehicles, she stated that enemy forces have enough equipment.

"But they realize that if they keep losing it irrevocably with each assault, they will soon run out of it. And they will still need it."

The day before, Humeiuk said that the number of Russian assaults had decreased to three or four per day.

Russian troops are estimated at more than 70,000 personnel and hundreds of weapons and equipment.

"They lose up to 70% of their personnel in each assault group. The units are forced to constantly maneuver and move to different directions. The total enemy grouping on the left bank is estimated at more than 70,000 personnel and hundreds of weapons and equipment," said Humeniuk.

Not all units are gathered along the front line but are also located in the rear to be pulled up as an additional resource.
