Russian drones drop explosives near humanitarian headquarters in Beryslav

The Russian military dropped an explosive from a drone near a humanitarian hub in Berislav, Kherson region. 

The Kherson Regional Military said on Facebook that Russian occupying forces dropped explosives near the hub three times, Rubryka reports.

"Berislav was attacked again by Russian drones," the statement said.

A 55-year-old woman was injured in the bombing, suffering explosive trauma and wounds to her hands and legs. The victim was hospitalized in moderate condition.

Overall, the Russian forces shelled the Kherson region 16 times in the past day.

"Over the past day, the enemy carried out 16 shelling attacks, firing 181 shells, using artillery, mortars, tanks, multiple rocket launchers, and drones," the Kherson Regional Administration's post said. "Russian troops targeted residential areas of the region's settlements and port infrastructure." 

As stated, five people have been killed, and one person has been injured.

As Rubryka reported, four people were killed in Kherson in the Russian shelling on Monday. Two civilians were in a car and came under artillery fire. Also, a woman was killed by the shelling while on the street. An investigation has been launched.

Situation on the left bank of the Kherson region

Last fall, Ukrainian soldiers were consolidating their positions on the left bank of the Kherson region, occupied by Russian forces, particularly at a foothold near the village of Krynky.

The head of the Joint Press Center of the South Operational Command, Natalia Humeniuk, reported that various components of the Ukrainian forces are actively operating on the left bank of the Dnipro River on the Kherson front.

In turn, the General Staff explained that the Armed Forces of Ukraine aimed to push Russian occupiers away from the right bank of the Dnipro River to reduce the shelling of civilians.

Military experts suggest that the offensive capabilities of Russian forces on the left bank of the Kherson region are limited. The reason is Russia's weak training and coordination.
