Ukraine repatriates two children from Russian-occupied Kherson region

Two more children were evacuated from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. They're safe now and receiving assistance.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this.

"Again on free land. Finally, two more children could say these words," the statement reads.

It is noted that the 15- and 16-year-old girls were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Prokudin noted that their families cooperated with Save Ukraine, thanks to which they were able to leave the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.

"Now both children and adults are safe; they are being provided with the necessary assistance," the head of the region added.

As Rubryka previously reported, Ukraine and Canada launched the work of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, the soldiers of the enemy army have been taking Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation and the territories controlled by them. A map of the camps to which children are sent was created in Ukraine.

As reported, in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian invaders are intensifying the forced planting of the Russian aggressive ideology.

In addition, the national resistance reports that the Russian occupiers are detaining children in the temporarily occupied territories to put pressure on their parents.

It was also reported that the Russians are recruiting Crimean schoolchildren to the "Unarmy" [UNARMY is a military organization for children and youth from Russia that the Russian Ministry of Defense created – ed].

As reported by Ombudsman Lubinets, the deportation of more than 19,500 Ukrainian children has been officially confirmed.

As of December 28, Ukraine confirmed the abduction of 19,546 children.

On January 4, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin signed an order allowing Ukrainian children to be granted Russian citizenship. Citizenship will be granted so that deported Ukrainian children "do not legally remain in the Russian Federation."
