The Ukrainian military downed 170 Russian drones of various types in just one day on the southern front, says Tavriia Forces Group commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

The enemy carried out 36 air strikes and one missile attack in the operational area of the Tavria Joint Task Force.

Russian forces engaged in 41 combat clashes and conducted 695 artillery attacks.

Yesterday's total enemy losses amounted to 332 soldiers and 24 pieces of military equipment, excluding drones. Ukrainian forces also destroyed two ammunition depots and two other important enemy targets.

Over the past day, Russian forces continued to try to encircle Avdiivka, as Ukrainian forces repelled the largest number of enemy attacks, which amounted to 30.

Ukrainian troops repelled 27 enemy attacks near Novokalynove and Avdiivka and three more attacks near Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

As for the Marinka front, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where they repelled seven attacks. Many units had to withdraw from Marinka itself, as the town had no grounds to hold.

In the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian troops repelled an enemy attack near Robotyne, a town liberated by Ukraine in summer's counteroffensive.

Meanwhile, the Russian military is currently spending almost half as much ammunition per day as it did a couple of months ago due to both weather conditions and a slow production pace.
