Kremlin authorities in Crimea urge students to become combat drone operators – National Resistance Center
Russian authorities in occupied Crimea are campaigning for the recruitment of students at their universities, the Center for National Resistance reports.
Students are enrolled in courses on operating FPV drones. The training takes place at a training ground near Sevastopol. Upon completion of the courses, participants are offered a contract with the Russian forces.
"Thus, the Russians are once again trying to solve their imperial problems at the expense of enslaved peoples and violate international law, which prohibits the recruitment of the population of the occupied areas into the ranks of the occupying army," the statement said.
Russian forces are trying to recruit Belarusian youth to their military universities and further enlist them in the ranks of their units to fight against Ukraine.
Ukrainians keep refusing to obtain Russian citizenship in the occupied territories under force and severe pressure. Starting next year, Ukrainians without a Russian passport will be considered foreigners in their native land, and currently, 60 to 70% of citizens refuse to receive enemy paper.
The Russian army continues to destroy the Ukrainian language and literature in the occupied territories. The occupation administrations have been instructed to prepare new lists of children without guardians for the purpose of their further deportation.
