Russia has about 900 more high-precision long-range missiles – Air Force

Russian forces have about 900 more high-precision long-range missiles that they can use to strike Ukraine.

The enemy produces up to a hundred of these weapons per month, says the Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat.

"The mark remained at the same level. Because the enemy used a large number of missiles during three combined attacks. Let me remind you that on December 29, 158 air attack vehicles, including drones and missiles, were used. About 100 were used on January 2."

In order not to be left with nothing, Russia will use about the same number of missiles during the shelling as it can produce in a month.

"And there's a problem with Kalibr missiles. They are used quite a bit. It is impossible to say what this is due to, but only three missiles were used for those attacks, as I said, on January 2."

Natalia Gumenyuk, a spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, says that Russian troops had not used Kalibr missiles to strike Ukraine for a long time.

This may be due to the difficulty of maintaining the units from which these missiles are fired and attempts to "lull" Ukrainian defenses.

Russian missile carriers equipped with Kalibrs are currently on alert in the Black Sea.

Russian forces launched a massive air strike on Ukraine on December 29 with 160 airborne weapons, and a number of regions were affected.

Air defense destroyed 27 drones and 88 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles. The attack on Kyiv on December 29 was the largest in terms of civilian casualties.
