Ukrainian activists unfurl national flag in Crimea on Day of Unity

On the Day of the National Unity of Ukraine, activists of the "Yellow Ribbon" movement unfurled the Ukrainian flag on the top of Pakhkal-Kaya mountain in Crimea.

"We unfurled the flag on one of the peaks of the Crimean mountains, Pakhkal-Kaya, to show the unity of the Ukrainian people because Crimea is Ukraine! Today, the symbol of Ukraine flies over the top of Crimea, and very soon, with joint efforts, we will decorate the entire peninsula with blue and yellow flags", the message says.

It should be noted that Rubryka previously reported that in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Ukrainian flag was flying, which activists on Mount Boyka unfurled to let everyone know that the peninsula is Ukrainian land.

In addition, yellow ribbons appeared:

• against the backdrop of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea and the Fiolent stadium in Simferopol,
• postcards and graffiti in the residential quarters of Sevastopol and Yalta.

"Yellow Ribbon" is a public resistance movement in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, created in April 2022 after the Russian military invasion. The goal of the movement is informational resistance to the Russian occupiers.

According to the Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov, most likely, Ukraine will liberate Crimea by military means. After all, only in case of deoccupation of the peninsula will our state have certain security guarantees.

And the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are capable, if necessary, of striking the enemy in any part of the Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia. At the same time, it is better for Russians and Ukrainian collaborators to leave the peninsula.

It was also reported today that Russian security forces are conducting searches of Crimean Tatars in occupied Crimea.

The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, said that it is necessary to continue the pressure on Russia, including in Crimea. The active actions of special forces on the territory of the occupied peninsula will continue.
