Solutions to win: Lviv IT cluster donates ₴3 mln in equipment and machinery to Ukrainian army
Over 3 million hryvnias worth of machinery and equipment was handed over by the Lviv IT cluster to the "West" Air Command.
Lviv Regional Military Administration reports this.
What is the problem?
As noted by the "West" Air Command officer, Denys Levkovych, well-equipped air defense forces are the peace and security of the region and the entire country.
After all, thanks to the work of air defense, cities, and strategic objects are under a kind of dome that protects against enemy attacks from the sky.
This prevents the destruction of crucial infrastructure and safeguards the civilian population.
What is the solution?
In total, within the framework of the SKY project, which was launched at the beginning of the full-scale war, the IT cluster provided over 20 million hryvnias of aid.
On January 18, the Lviv IT cluster, in cooperation with the Lviv Regional Military Administration, handed over machinery and equipment to "West" Air Command worth over 3 million hryvnias within the scope of the SKY project.

How does it work?
It is about:
- network equipment,
- computer equipment,
- walkie-talkies.
A total of more than 350 units worth more than UAH 3 million.
"The IT Cluster is a large and responsible Ukrainian business. But more often, I associate it with the mission of helping the military. Thank you for supporting our air defense for more than 20 million hryvnias. The equipment we are handing over today will help combine all the means of defeating enemy air targets into a single system and will ensure the rapid communication of our air defense soldiers who defend the sky over the Lviv region and the entire western region. The people in the ranks of the "West" Air Command are real heroes who hold the sky and thereby allow us to work, pay taxes, raise children, believe in victory, and support those who win it on the front lines," Maksym Kozytskyi, head of Lviv Regional Military Administration, emphasized.

The air defense forces of the western region will receive, in particular:
laptops,
printers,
communication,
server equipment.
The SKY project provides for the technical modernization of the command and analytical centers of the "West" Air Command. This includes the complete replacement of existing computer equipment, network equipment, and display screens for navigation systems.
"The SKY project was made possible thanks to more than 300 companies that are community members. I call on everyone who has not yet joined our organization to join. We are making ambitious and necessary projects that protect us from enemy fire," said the CEO of Lviv IT Cluster, Stepan Veselovskyi.
Some companies that backed the project were Data Art, Qub Studio, Sigma, TDB, Israel IT, Exoft, Yalantis, and Everymatrix.

The partner for this project is Jappware.
"This equipment will improve the interaction of command centers to ensure communication for coordinated actions necessary in our work. This is not the first transfer or project from the IT Cluster, and they are always on time. We are very grateful for the help; we continue to destroy the enemy together," he emphasized.
For reference:
SKY is one of the many projects the IT Cluster implements in cooperation with the Lviv Military Regional Administration. As Stepan Veselovskyi noted, vehicles with automatic turrets will soon be handed over to mobile fire groups as part of the "Hunters for Shahed" project.
In May, the Lviv IT Cluster community handed over the Shark drone for the aerial reconnaissance needs of the artillery brigade. The transfer took place within the Victory Projects initiative.
It was also reported that during the full-scale war, the Lviv defense facility handed over almost 7,000 fourth-class personal protective equipment to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine units.
