Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited former US President Donald Trump to visit Kyiv after he promised to end the war "very quickly" if he wins this year's elections.

Zelensky said this in an interview with the British TV channel Channel 4 News.

"Donald Trump, I invite you to Ukraine, to Kyiv. If you can stop the war in 24 hours, I think that will be enough to come. Any day," said Zelensky.

The head of state also does not rule out that Trump, for example, really has some ideas and can share them.

"We cannot keep a secret from our people about how to stop the war," Zelensky added.

For reference:

As previously mentioned by Rubryka, former United States President Donald Trump, who is running for the presidency once again, stated that he would handle the war in Ukraine "very quickly" if elected in 2024. He made this remark after winning the first primary in Iowa.

"We want peace through strength … Putin and I get along well, we get along great. This is a good indicator, not a bad one. And we are going to solve it. We will solve it very quickly," said the former US president.

Trump is convinced that if he were the president of the United States, Russia "would never have attacked" Ukraine, and Israel "would never have been attacked."
