BGV Charity Fund raises over UAH 200 million for charity projects in less than two years
The BGV Charity Fund has been actively working on building international connections and expanding its network of donors to aid Ukrainians during the war.
As of January 2024, the direct financial contributions secured by the BGV fund for charity projects amount to 204,000,000 hryvnias.
Over a third of these donations, 38%, were received from European supporters. This means that every third hryvnia in BGV's projects, helping various categories of Ukrainians, originated from foreign partners.
The donations coming to the BGV fund's accounts vary widely, ranging from a few tens of hryvnias to tens of millions when converted from foreign currencies. Among the international donors are both individuals and globally renowned companies. European companies and organizations that provided the most funding to the BGV Charity Fund include the non-profit organization #WeAreAllUkrainians, the Lufthansa Group's help alliance foundation, and the charity organization Hanseatic Help.
The BGV fund's donor map mainly consists of European countries, with funding received from the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Estonia.
Since the start of our foundation, we have focused on charity partnerships and the ecosystem of humanitarian initiatives involving companies, organizations, and funding from around the world in our projects.
