14 Vinnytsia communities join forces to mass-produce mobile bath and laundry complexes for Ukrainian soldiers

Communities in Ukraine's central Vinnytsia region have organized the production of mobile bath and laundry complexes for soldiers.

They have already sent 14 of them to the front line, Rubryka reports, citing Ukrinform.

What's the problem?

Ukrainian defenders returning from the trenches and their unit's locations are in dire need of good rest and decent living conditions. This includes the opportunity to wash up and clean their belongings.

Viacheslav Sokolovii, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Council, noted:

"We constantly receive such requests from the military, and we try to our best to satisfy them."

What's the solution?

To address this issue, communities in Vinnytsia have organized the production of mobile bath and laundry complexes for the defenders through a joint effort. Fourteen of these complexes have already been sent to the front line.

These are essentially trucks converted into showers, equipped with boilers and washing machines, and have water storage capacity.

"They were literally mass-produced by the efforts of several communities. We coordinated this work," Sokolovii explained.

How does it work?

In December, four such mobile complexes were delivered to the front. They were manufactured and equipped by the communities of Zhmerynka, Tomashpil, Ivankiv, Luka-Meleshkivska, Stryzhavka, and Turbiv. Some provided generators, others purchased boilers, washing machines, and other equipment, while some insulated containers and assembled everything.

In total, 14 communities in Vinnytsia, local businesses, and even educational institutions with production facilities have joined the production of these bath and laundry complexes.

The official said that these complexes are manufactured by Vinnytsia communities and handed over to various units fighting in the east and south of Ukraine. The mobility of these bath complexes allows for easing the daily life of defenders on different parts of the front.
