Russia’s missile attack on Kyiv: death toll rises to 21

The search operations at the site of the hit in Kyiv continue.

An hour and a half ago, the capital's emergency workers found the bodies of two more victims under the rubble, bringing the number of victims of the enemy missile attack on Kyiv on December 29 to 19.

Rescuers clarified that the dead were unblocked from the rubble in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.

"We have moved and removed 1400 cubic meters of destroyed building structures, 1765 cubic meters since the beginning of the work. Rescue operations are ongoing around the clock,"

Kyiv mayor adds 32 people were injured, 17 of them are hospitalized in the medical institutions.

January 1 will be declared a day of mourning in Kyiv, Klitschko said.

Another victim of a massive missile attack by Russian forces on December 29 died in hospital in the Dnipro region.

As of now, 30 people have been killed and more than 160 wounded in Russia's massive morning attack on Ukraine.
