Russian forces shell Kherson 425 times killing four civilians

Kherson remains the epicenter of brutal Russian shelling on southern front, suffering hundreds of hits from various weaponry.
Russian forces attacked Kherson region 88 times, launching 425 projectiles at civilians, says Oleksandr Prokudion, head of military administration.
Enemy forces used mortars, missile launchers, drones, tanks and other weaponry for the attack.
The shelling killed four and injured nine, including one child.
As for the city itself, Russian forces launched 71 projectiles at Kherson.
An 87-year-old man and his 81-year-old wife were killed on the spot when an artillery shell hit a residential building.
In the central district of the city, rescuers found the body of a dead man while clearing the rubble. His identity is being established.
"A 54-year-old resident of Kherson sustained blast trauma, contusion and leg injuries. He refused to be hospitalized after receiving medical aid," said Prokudin.
Russian military hit residential areas of the region's settlements; medical institutions, an educational institution and critical infrastructure facilities in Kherson.
On December 23, the occupiers launched a massive attack on residential areas of Kherson in the evening, causing several fires in the city.
Seven people were injured, including a 15-year-old child.
