Ukrainians from Dnipro have rebuilt 130 houses in Kherson region via "Side by Side" restoration project
The southeastern Dnipro region is actively involved in the Side by Side nationwide project, and has already restored more than 130 homes in the Kherson region, says head of the military administration.
More than a dozen more are in undegoing complex reparations.
"These are not just replaced windows and doors, roofs and facades. This is an opportunity for people to return home," Lysak said.
Dnipro has joined the fifteen regions that have worked with the all-Ukrainian pilot project "Side by Side".
This project aims to restore Ukrainian settlements that have suffered the most from Russian aggression and the horrors of occupation. The Dnipro region takes care of the liberated villages of Olhyne, Staroselia, Bobrovyi Kut.
Regional administrations gather up to restore over 3,500 facilities under the pilot project.
