Germany sends new batch of weapons to Ukraine

Another batch of military equipment and ammunition from Germany, including three Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, were delivered to Ukraine, the press service says.
The list also includes:
- 10 Vector UAVs;
- two HX8 tractors;
- five HX81 semi-trailers;
- eight Zetros trucks;
- two WiSENT 1 MC demining vehicles;
- two border guard vehicles;
- eight vehicles;
- two AMPS communication protection systems for helicopters;
- ammunition for Leopard 2A6;
- 30 240 units of 35 mm ammunition for Gepard;
- 2,500 155-mm;
- 25,536 40-mm rounds for automatic grenade launchers.
On October 14, Germany sent Bandvagn 206 vehicles and 50 drone detection systems in a new weapons package.
On October 11, Chancellor Olaf Scholz pledged one mln euros in winter aid for Ukraine, which also includes air defenses.
On December 14, Germany also announced a new military aid package for the forces, including ammunition and equipment, which has 7390 rounds of 155 mm caliber for Ukrainian artillery of the Western model and 47040 rounds of 40 mm caliber for automatic and hand-held grenade launchers.
Germany's second Patriot air defense system, transferred to Ukraine, will be deployed and operational by the end of this year, said German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
