Solutions from Ukraine: new mobile app aids sports rehabilitation for Rivne veterans and soldiers
A new mobile application, Trenvet UA, has been introduced in the Rivne region that assists veterans and service members obtain free sports rehabilitation.
The Rivne Regional State Administration reported that on Facebook.
What is the problem?
In the Rivne region, all public services for veterans and different benefits become complex. In total, 18 central authorities are relevant to veteran policy.
"Our warriors do the main work today at the front. And our task is to provide decent support and conditions for those who return home.
No one is indifferent when it comes to veterans," said the acting head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Serhiy Podolin.
What is the solution?
The NGOs "Strongmen Federation of Ukraine" and "Prowess of the Unconquered" developed the application with support from the Ukrainian Veterans Fund.
The application aims to bring war veterans together with sports and fitness experts to provide free training and encourage physical activity.
How does it work?
At the event, they introduced the Trevnet mobile app for Ukrainian war veterans, designed to assist them in finding the most suitable sports rehabilitation options.
At the forum, a native speaker gave a presentation on the reintegration process for Ukraine's defenders and their families in the Rivne region, focusing on areas such as medical care, physical therapy, and sports rehabilitation.
If veterans want to engage in physical activities with a quality specialist in a convenient location for them, then they have to:
- Register in the Trevnet app by clicking the "veteran" button,
- Complete the relevant data,
- Choose a convenient location for training and sports.
Trevnet will provide an applicant with information about the nearest gym and a trainer who will be pleased to conduct volunteer training.
Suppose trainers want to help a veteran integrate into society better, overcome the horrors of war, and inspire a healthy lifestyle, in that case, they can also register as a trainer in a mobile application.
As stated by the forum speakers, Vasyl Virastiuk, the winner of the title "The Strongest Man in the World," was in attendance and shared his sports and veteran work experiences in different regions of Ukraine.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Rivne Regional State Administration and the Strongmen Federation of Ukraine was signed during the event.

It's worth mentioning that a rehabilitation center for wounded military personnel has been opened in Rivne.
