These and many other exciting things are done by the heroes of the new #dievi project, the USAID press release says.
What is the problem?
During Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the media does not provide sufficient coverage/reporting on the assistance provided by young people.
The volunteers do not have enough resources to promote themselves and their activities. They lack knowledge on how to effectively promote themselves while needing to showcase their contribution and role.
What is the solution?
USAID and Ukraine's Sports Ministry, is conducting a promotional campaign to showcase and highlight the contributions of young volunteers during the war.
The promotional campaign also highlights regional youth policy processes in Ukraine, their achievements and opportunities.
How does it work?
The #dievi campaign introduces the projects of young volunteers in videos on Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
The heroes of the campaign talk about their work, their motivation to keep going, and their path to volunteering, sharing their sincere emotions and inspiration. Each story is about tens and thousands of lives saved, requests closed, homes restored. It is about real changes in the lives of individuals and entire communities.
The project will share such initiatives of the as VIDNOVA:UA, the Spilodiya platform, the You Are Well project, and the activities of youth councils, youth centers, and volunteer platforms.
The organizers chose the style of comic books about extraordinary characters for the campaign for a reason. After all, each of the project's heroes has found a "superpower" in themselves: doing what they can to help those in need.
They were not afraid of real danger to their own lives, like Serhii Ludensky, who rescues abandoned animals in the frontline areas – sometimes even under fire. They easily exchanged incendiary parties for equally incendiary rave cleanups, as did the founders of the Repair together project, who organized the reconstruction and dismantling of rubble for DJ sets.
Alisa Mezhenska, the co-founder of the legendary donation drive, raised 32 million hryvnias.

Does it really work?
The style for covering the project through social media highlighted the activities of volunteer projects to the general public in 6 weeks, as well as receive more than 1.3 million views of interviews, posts and videos among the youth audience and motivate a large number of boys and girls to join these and other volunteer projects.
