Germany provides Ukrainian military with 100,000 first aid kits in new support package
Germany provided a new package of military aid to Ukraine, which includes 155-mm caliber shells, grenade launchers, and reconnaissance drones.
The new aid package includes 250 rounds of 155-mm ammunition, LUNA NG reconnaissance drones, 10 VECTOR reconnaissance drones, six patrol vehicles, eight Zetros trucks, 70 MGW automatic grenade launchers, and 100,000 military first aid kits.
Germany enhanced military support to Ukraine with vehicles, shells, and anti-drone systems in an aid package on December 2.
Ukraine received €2 billion in military aid from Germany, and in 2023, the state planned to transfer more than €5 billion.
On October 14, Germany handed over Bandvagn 206 multi-purpose tracked all-terrain vehicles, border guard vehicles, and 50 drone detection systems to Ukraine.
On October 11, Germany announced new military aid to Ukraine worth about €1 billion, which includes additional air defense systems, tanks, and ammunition.
The second group of Ukrainian soldiers finished its training in Germany to work with the Patriot air defense missile system.
