70% of Ukrainians plan to donate part of their Christmas expenses to the army – survey
68% of Ukrainian plan to donate their major Christmas savings for the Armed Forces, according to the Deloitte survey.
66% of Ukrainians would prefer to shop with retailers that support their forces and civilians affected by the war, donating a part of their purchases to the cause.
The majority of Ukrainians (59%) do not plan to give up holiday shopping. However, this figure is slightly lower compared to last year (61%).
The survey also notes that 63% of buyers do not buy goods from sellers/producers who have not left Russian market, and 22% do not know how to check whether the seller/producer has suspended operations in Russia.
Ukraine's National Bank has previously estimated that civilians donated over 2.7 billion dollars in nearly two years of the full-scale war.
