Ukrainian manufacturers provide majority of drones for armed forces procurement – Ministry of Strategic Industries
Production of most UAV models has already been established in Ukraine. Most of the drones procured for the Defense Forces are manufactured in Ukraine.
Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industry, reported this on Telegram.
"It is good that the Ministry of Defense is increasing the purchase of drones. And I am glad that the absolute majority of drones purchased for the Defense Forces are already produced in Ukraine. Only a few models are imported," Kamyshin wrote.
According to the head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, domestic production can produce a decent number of drones – from the smallest and cheapest FPV to long-range Shahed analogs.
The minister noted that stable contracting of finished products will contribute to the increase of production capacity.

The Ukrainian market for the production of drones is actively developing; more than 100 companies manufacture drones in the country.
Today, the Ukrainian army already has dozens of drones of domestic production, not only unmanned aerial vehicles and surface drones.
Earlier, the head of Ukraine's Security Service announced that a unique marine surface drone, "Sea Baby," was produced in Ukraine. The production of these drones is located in Ukraine, but the factories are located underground.
The State Special Forces recently reported that they had ordered hundreds of domestically produced drones from Ukroboronprom. They will be ready by the end of the year.
In addition, according to the Minister of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, Ukraine has established serial production of the domestic analog of Shahed drones. Dozens of such drones can be produced in a month.
