Russian forces launch rocket strike on Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, shell Nikopol district
During the night from Thursday to Friday, December 1, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih.
Rubryka reports, citing the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"Invaders targeted Kryvyi Rih with a missile. The consequences of the attack are being clarified," said Lysak.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
Russian occupiers also shelled the Myrivka community with heavy artillery, followed by Chervonohryhorivka.
"At night, the Russian army twice struck the Nikopol district. First, they shelled the Myrivka community with heavy artillery. Then, Chervonohryhorivka community. More than half a dozen shells landed there," the statement said.
According to the head of the military administration, the rest of the region was calm, without attacks.
Front-line situation
Overall, the Russian forces launched one missile and 71 aviation strikes and carried out 80 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launching systems on Ukrainian troops' positions and inhabited areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian attacks, there are casualties among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damages.
In the past day, occupiers conducted additional aviation strikes, using 19 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Of these, 15 were downed. During this time, Russians once again attacked Ukraine with two guided Kh-59 missiles and 12 Shahed-136/131 drones. With the efforts of air defense, one guided missile and eight strike drones were downed.
