Zelensky visits Kherson to check out plans for shelter construction
Today, November 29, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, visited Kherson.
Rubryka reports this, referring to Zelensky's Telegram channel.
The president published a video of his visit to Kherson, which was liberated from the Russian occupation a year ago. The video shows that the president visited the hospital, talked with doctors, and checked the shelters in the city.
"Kherson. Report on the construction of shelters. Meaningful. Thanks to everyone who makes efforts to protect people!" Zelensky noted.
The president inspected the largest shelter in the city, which is equipped to accommodate 250 people during an air raid, and received a report by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson OVA, regarding the repair and reconstruction of shelters in the region.
Before coming to Kherson, Zelensky visited the Mykolaiv region, where he took part in the presentation of projects implemented within the framework of Denmark's patronage over the region. He noted that the patronage program over the region is an example of success and demonstrates what can be done to other countries.
Also, today, Zelensky visited the Odesa region and held a meeting to discuss the region's security. Zelensky listened to reports from the military and held a discussion on the defense of the region.
It should be noted that Russian troops are constantly shelling Kherson. The situation with the enemy's attacks on the right bank is so severe that it is under the control of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
For example, today, the Russian military shelled Kherson and its suburbs several times. As a result of the attack, a 68-year-old man was killed, and houses were damaged.
