The German Foreign Ministry announced this on the X social network.
"The Ukraine-NATO Council will be the driving force that will bring Ukraine closer to NATO. Alliance standards, planning of forces and assets, and the reform of the armed forces are central to this process. Germany is making an additional contribution of 11.5 million euros to the Ukraine-NATO Trust Fund," Baerbock noted.
At the same time, the diplomat pointed out that the public's attention to Russia's war against Ukraine has decreased and emphasized that "this is a shame."
"Attacks from Russia on civilian infrastructure are now more severe than ever. That is why we must all work to continue strengthening the winter protective shield for Ukraine," the minister added.
On November 29, the first-ever meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council at the level of Foreign Ministers will be held in Brussels as part of a meeting of Alliance government officials. Dmytro Kuleba represented Ukraine at the meeting.
