Ukraine must prepare for escalating Russian missile strikes – Stoltenberg

Ukraine needs to prepare for increased hostilities and air attacks by the Russian Federation.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this in Brussels at a meeting of foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance countries on November 28.

During his speech at the ministerial meeting, the NATO Secretary General noted that intense fighting is currently taking place on the front line in Ukraine.

In addition, as Stoltenberg emphasized, "we have seen waves of drone attacks on Ukrainian cities."

"Of course, we will review the situation in Ukraine. We see intense fighting along the front line. And we see waves of drone attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure facilities. And we must prepare for more attacks against Ukrainian cities. Therefore, it is essential that NATO member countries continue to support Ukraine," the head of the Alliance emphasized.

Stoltenberg also welcomed recent announcements of aid to Ukraine by NATO member states, particularly Germany, the Netherlands, and Romania.

Earlier, Stoltenberg stated that he was sure the allies would continue providing Ukraine significant military aid.
