Russia shells Sumy region, injuring three and killing three, including a child

Today, November 28, the Russian forces launched an artillery bombardment of settlements in the Sumy region.

The prosecutor's office of the Sumy region reported this.

According to preliminary data, the Russian Federation began shelling around 12:30 p.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law. The enemy fired at the civilian infrastructure of the city of Seredyna-Buda, Sumy region, with anti-aircraft missiles.

As a result of the attack, at least five private houses were destroyed. Rescuers retrieved the bodies of two dead women and two wounded men from under the rubble. A civilian man and his 7-year-old stepdaughter were also injured in their own car. Later, the girl died in the hospital.

"Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the shelling. The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region," the message says.
