It should be noted that at the end of October, British intelligence reported a long pause in Russia's use of long-range aircraft for missile strikes on Ukraine and attributed this to the accumulation of stockpiles for the winter.
In turn, Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat also stated on the air of the telethon that the Russian Federation could probably take a break in air attacks on Ukraine to accumulate a certain number of missiles.
The invaders understand that striking with Shahed kamikaze drones alone is ineffective. After all, the air defense forces effectively shoot them down and receive and will receive more means against UAVs.
In addition, British intelligence previously stated that the Russian army had already accumulated a significant stockpile of cruise missiles on the eve of winter to strike Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
In turn, the Ukrainian government and the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces decided to protect energy infrastructure facilities.
Ukrenergo [Ukraine's electricity transmission system operator – ed.] is preparing for the worst scenario in winter and advises the population to purchase autonomous power sources whenever possible.
