BGV Charity Fund delivers sports and playground for over 300 children to Berezivka community

BGV Charity Fund has acquired and delivered a modern children's sports and playground complex to Berezivka, Zhytomyr region. The local community is set to install it in the central part of the village.

On November 11, in a celebratory atmosphere, the fund's director, Polina Aldoshyna, presented a certificate for the recreational area to the youngsters of Berezivka. As of November 16, over 300 children aged 2 to 15 reside in the village of Berezivka, including internally displaced children who have found refuge in the new community with their families.

The children's playground is divided into two thematic sections: a play area featuring towers with wooden roofs, a slide, a climbing wall, gymnastic rings, a playhouse, swings, and straight-rung horizontal ladders with wall bars, and a sports section with a rope climbing complex.

"The Berezivka territorial community comprises 16 towns. Most of them have both play and sports grounds. However, in the central village of Berezivka, which houses over 300 preschool and school-age children, there hasn't been a quality place for their recreation and physical development until now," said the head of the local community, Mykhailo Yaromov. "The need was extremely urgent. Unfortunately, on our own, considering the community's limited budget and the country's situation, we couldn't address it. That's why we reached out to the BGV fund with a request to help us purchase a children's sports and play area. We know that the fund systematically does charity work, promoting a range of children's educational, sports, and social initiatives in Ukraine. We sincerely appreciate the help and look forward to further cooperation."
