Ukrainian soldiers attacking Russian positions in several directions on left bank of Kherson region

Ukrainian armed forces are continuing their offensive operations on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region. According to reports from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian soldiers are attacking near Poima, Pishchanivka, Pidstepne, Antonivka Road, and the railway bridge.

In the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions, the Ukrainian General Staff reported unsuccessful Russian military attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka (20 km southeast of Kupoansk), northeast and east of Petropavlivka, and in the direction of Siversk.

Military observer Kostiantyn Mashovets assessed that Russian forces in the Kupiansk direction are completing the regrouping of forces and may soon intensify their offensive actions in this area.

Russian sources claimed that on November 22, Ukrainian forces launched ground attacks near Kupiansk and south of Kreminna.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported on November 22 that Ukrainian forces continued their assault south of Bakhmut.

On November 22, Russian forces continued ground attacks near Bakhmut but made no confirmed advancements. The Ukrainian General Staff stated that Ukrainian forces repelled Russian assaults near Klyshchiivka. Ukrainian forces also reportedly repelled Russian counterattacks northwest of Horlivka in the Pivdenne area.

Russian forces attempted over 22 unsuccessful assaults east of Novobakhmutivka, north of Lastochkine, near Avdiivka, Siverske, and Pervomaiske.

Colonel Oleksandr Shtupun, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Tavria Task Force, stated that Russian forces significantly intensified assault operations near Avdiivka, with an observed increase of Russian strikes in this area by 25-30% over the last day.

Shtupun noted that on the Avdiivka front, Russian forces conducted a mechanized assault using about a dozen armored vehicles, with Ukrainian forces reportedly repelling the attack, destroying two tanks and seven APCs.

Russian bloggers claimed that RF forces allegedly achieved undefined successes near Stepove and that this settlement remains a disputed "grey zone."

Shtupun revealed that Russian aviation also intensified actions near Avdiivka. Russian "war correspondents" claimed that Russian forces increased artillery and air strikes on Ukrainian positions on the northern and southern flanks of Avdiivka.

The Ukrainian Tavria Task Force spokesperson added that current weather conditions do not affect the pace of military operations on the Avdiivka front. Reduced foliage in the area reportedly improves Ukrainian visibility against Russian infantry attacks.

Military observer Kostiantyn Mashovets stated that the Russian command introduced units of the 255th Motorized Rifle Regiment into the battle on the Avdiivka front.

A Russian "war correspondent" alleged that on November 22, Ukrainian forces conducted a counterattack north of Avdiivka near Stepove but did not specify the outcome.

On November 22, Russian forces continued offensive operations west and southwest of Donetsk but made no confirmed advancements. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces repelled over 18 Russian assaults near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka.

Yaroslav Chepurnyi, spokesperson for the Ukrainian brigade operating on the Maryinka front, stated that Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions over 150 times in the past week, launching over 300 UAV strikes.

On November 22, Russian forces continued unsuccessful attacks in the west of the Zaporizhzhia region. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that RF forces unsuccessfully stormed positions near Robotyne and Kamianske.

Ukrainian forces maintain positions in the eastern (left-bank) part of the Kherson region and reportedly launched attacks in this area on November 22.

Russian bloggers claimed that Ukrainian forces held positions and attacked near Poima, Pishchanivka, Pidstepne, Antonivka Road, and the railway bridge. Mashovets stated that there is also undefined activity west of Oleshky.

Mashovets added that units of the Russian 328th VDV Regiment are attacking Krynky from Korsun and are constantly advancing along Oleshky-Nova Kakhovka.

On November 22, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that Russian forces allegedly destroyed four Ukrainian naval and three reconnaissance drones targeting Crimea.

A Kremlin-linked Russian blogger suggested that Ukraine may be targeting the Russian Black Sea Fleet base near Yevpatoriia.

According to the Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov, Russia understands only the language of force. Over the past six weeks, the enemy has lost about 36,000 soldiers.
