10,000 sets for toddlers: BGV Charity Fund unveils fifth wave of assistance

The BGV Charity Fund and its partners announce the launch of the fifth wave of charity aid for children. This time, the project is tailored to offer support to children aged 1 to 2 years.

The fund and its donors — German partners dm-drogerie markt and #WeAreAllUkrainians — with the support of the Biosphere Corporation, the Bübchen brand, and the British charity foundation Eneїda, assembled 10,000 sets with products for babies. The project's logistics partner — the Nova Poshta postal company — will deliver aid across Ukraine at its own expense. Each set includes the most needed children's products: clothes, babycare hygienic and cosmetic products, diapers, household chemicals, as well as toys and development books.

A family of a child from any region or town in Ukraine (except temporarily occupied territories) can receive a charity kit. Applications for aid are accepted for babies born between November 20, 2021 and November 20, 2022, i.e., who are between 1 and 2 years old at the time the project is launched.

To receive a set, you need to fill out a short online application on the official website of the BGV Charity Fund, specifying information about the child, one of the parents, and delivery information and adding a photo or scan of the needed documents — the child's birth certificate, passport or ID-card of one of the parents, and individual tax number.

The application will be processed within a few weeks. If all the information is entered correctly, the fund team will automatically confirm the application, and Nova Poshta will deliver the set to the family. If the application requires extra information, the fund representatives will contact the parents to clarify.

Within the first four waves of the project, the BGV Charity Fund and its partners have already assembled and distributed 40,000 kits with the most needed products to newborn Ukrainian babies and mothers. Since the project launch in June 2022, the charity initiative has spanned over a year, providing essential kits and goods to 21,218 boys and 18,782 girls across 2,908 towns.
