Ukrainian forces counterattack near Avdiivka, advancing in northwest of the city
Ukrainian forces have counterattacked on the Avdiivka front, making progress near the railway to the southeast of the nearby village of Stepove.
Ukrainian troops have also advanced in the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region near Novoprokopivka, Rubryka reports, citing information from the Institute for the Study of War.
Situation in Kharkiv and Luhansk regions
As of November 19, Russian forces continued their offensive along the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line but made no confirmed advances. The Ukrainian General Staff reported unsuccessful Russian attacks on the Kupiansk front near Synkivka, Ivanivka, east of Petropavlivka, and on the Lymanske front near Torske.
The North Ossetian volunteer battalions "Alania" and "Storm Ossetia" claimed that intense battles took place on the Kupiansk front. Ukrainian military observer Kostiantyn Mashovets stated that Russian units of the 164th Separate Motorized Brigade unsuccessfully attacked near Dibrova, 7 km southwest of Kreminna.
