Russian missile strikes Zaporizhzhia again, killing two rescue workers and injuring seven
On November 18, the Russian military launched three missile attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region, killing and injuring special services workers.
The casualties information was confirmed by Ukrainian Police.
"The Russian enemy insidiously attacked a peaceful settlement twice with missiles (type to be determined). As a result of the first two hits, four local residents were wounded and a residential building caught fire," the statement said.
When the police and rescuers arrived at the scene, Russian forces opened fire again. Two employees of the State Emergency Service were killed, and three of their colleagues were injured with varying degrees of severity.
The police said they were documenting the consequences of another war crime.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Yurii Malashko reported that Russian troops struck 155 times at the Zaporizhzhia region. There were 124 artillery attacks, 21 drone attacks, nine MLRS attacks and an air strike.
On 17 November, Russian invaders tried to attack an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia.
According to the official, Russian forces attacked the regional centre using Shahed-type kamikaze attack drones. The blast wave damaged windows in several residential buildings.
Communal services promptly began to repair the damage and have already covered some of the windows with condominiums.
