Ukrainian Victory Drones project launches free online course on crafting FPV drones
Drone manufacturer Vyriy Drone and Victory Drones educational project launched a free online engineering course called "People's FPV."
What is the solution?
Drones are an integral and important part of Ukrainian weaponry. According to the State Service for Special Communications, by the end of the year, the number of Ukrainian drones should increase to tens of thousands of different types.
Drone engineering is vital for protecting Ukraine and developing the economy. The topic of training design engineers and the development of the drone industry as a whole is extremely relevant. This is one of the key factors that directly brings Ukrainians closer to victory.
What is the solution?
The Victory Drones training project and the drone manufacturer Vyriy Drone have launched a free online engineering course, "People's FPV."
How does it work?
The course will last two weeks and has seven lectures. Students will learn how to assemble an FPV drone.
"Our target audience is not indifferent citizens of Ukraine who want to learn new skills, gain practical knowledge. To complete the course does not require special skills, only your desire to contribute to the victory over the enemy. We invite the military who have lost limbs and are ready to return to the help of the front, working in engineering, "said the organizers.
During the training, engineers will pass the knowledge to participants to assemble and configure a 7-inch FPV kamikaze drone.
Training is free, but its components, tools, and materials will need to be purchased independently.
The instructors will provide access to all educational materials and a community of engineers where they can consult, ask questions, and share successes.
"All drones must pass build quality checks and weight field tests. And we take this test upon ourselves. After successful testing, the drone will be handed over to the military and will immediately go to the front," Victory Drones reports.
The first group of students has already completed their studies. The following groups will begin training at intervals of approximately once every two weeks.
