Ukrainian intelligence operatives have completed 50-km US Marine Corps marathon
Ukrainian Intelligence operators joined the 48th Marathon of the US Marines.
This event has 10, 42 and 50-kilometer routes of running and attracts thousands of people worldwide.
The participants of each race finish at the Iwo Jima Memorial in nearby Arlington, complex built in memory of those who died in the name of the values of democracy and freedom of the US Marines.
The employees of Ukraine's intelligence dedicated the marathon to their comrades-in-arms who fell in the war.
Previously, Ukrainian rescuer Volodymyr Skovorodka set a new Ukrainian record by running a 50-kilometre distance in Kyiv in full gear weighing more than 25 kg. After setting the record, the rescuer ran another 12.7 km.
The race was dedicated to the memory of the fallen rescuers and civilians killed in Russian bombing.
