Ukrainian forces repel 18 Russian assaults on Avdiivka

The latest AFU General Staff report says Russian forces pooled their efforts into assaulting Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

The military command reported that over the course of the day, the aviation carried out ten strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were put together.

Missile troops struck two artillery units, eight areas of personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment, and two enemy air defense facilities.

Ukrainian forces continue to conduct an offensive on the Melitopol front, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy forces, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

Meanwhile, Russian forces launched one missile and conducted 63 air strikes, fired 64 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

"At night, the Russian occupiers launched another missile attack on Ukraine, using two X-59 guided missiles and an Iskander-M ballistic missile. Air defense forces and means destroyed one X-59 guided missile. Information on the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified," the General Staff added.

Ukrainian forces were engaged in 80 combat clashes over the past day.
