Zelensky invites Indonesia to "Grain From Ukraine" initiative
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with the leader of Indonesia, Joko Widodo. They discussed the implementation of Ukraine's Peace Formula and more.
Rubryka reports, citing President Volodymyr Zelensky's Telegram channel, that the parties discussed:
- Progress in implementing the Ukrainian Peace Formula, which Zelensky presented at the G20 summit in Indonesia a year ago.
- Success during the meeting between advisors in preparation for the Global Peace Summit.
- Zelensky invited Indonesia to join efforts for the Peace Formula.
"I stressed that despite Russia's attempts to obstruct civilian shipping in the Black Sea, Ukraine remains a guarantor of global food security. I informed the Indonesian leader about alternative 'grain corridors' and assured him that Ukraine was ready to resume supplying agricultural products to Indonesia," said the Ukrainian president.
The president invited Indonesia to the global humanitarian initiative "GrainFromUkraine" and an upcoming summit of the same name scheduled for November.
They also discussed the situation in the Middle East. Zelensky stressed the importance of protecting civilians and ensuring the unimpeded operation of humanitarian corridors, including a general de-escalation. Ukraine is committed to resolving the situation based on the "two-state" principle.
Peace Formula Summit
On October 28, Malta hosted the third meeting of national security advisors and foreign policy advisors about the Peace Formula. Among the issues considered were nuclear and radiation safety, energy security, uninterrupted food supply, return of deported children, civilian hostages, and prisoners of war, and restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
As Rubryka reported, President Zelensky presented Ukraine's algorithm for achieving peace with Russia, consisting of 10 points, to the G20 participants. The Ukrainian peace formula also guarantees radiation, nuclear, food, and energy security.
Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen stated that his country supported the Ukrainian Peace Formula. France might take charge of a point in the Ukrainian Peace Formula concerning nuclear safety.
In turn, the President of the European Commission, Von der Leyen, stated that the peace formula should be the starting point for ending the war in Ukraine. The European Union also supports Ukraine's peace formula and the summit to start implementing its provisions.
